But isn’t France a republic? Of course! And it took a lot for it to be so, and that’s why we can’t forget the history the people of France had to go through to get there and that’s exactly what this tour is about, where we’ll review, starting in the Place de la Concorde, a little bit of the French Revolution and why it was decided to end the monarchy and in what way. Then we will admire the counterpart of history through the Elysée Palace, residence and office of the President of the French Republic. We will then contemplate the beautiful architecture of the Grand Palace, which today hosts international major events of such as meetings of presidents or fashion shows, also in conjunction with the Small Palace, home of the Museum of Fine Arts in Paris, both built for the 1900 World’s Fair. We will finish the tour with the Alexander III Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site bridge and probably the most beautiful in Paris, which was built to strengthen the Franco-Russian alliance.
